Former Hospitality Management Lecturer

Sascha Spiegal

Sascha Spiegal is a native of Switzerland but a true citizen of the world at heart; he has called numerous countries across the world home during his illustrious career in hospitality. In 2012, Sascha earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration and is currently completing his Doctorate Degree in Business Administration. He is also a certified Hospitality Trainer, earning his certification in the United States. He is also fluent in four languages: German, French, Spanish, and English.

Mr. Spiegal’s career includes roles such as F&B Supervisor at the 5-star Hotel le Mirador. In 2008, he would become the Operations Manager of Bai Tram Hideaway Resort.  As a result of his success, he began in 2009 as a consultant with Elation Group, working with restaurants and other hospitality services to train their staff to meet industry standards. In 2014, Mr. Spiegal began work as the Operations Manager at the Belmond Governor’s Residence in Yangon, Vietnam.  He was involved in all aspects of the Residence, from managing the entire staff’s daily operations, managing events with over 300 guests, menu creation and pricing, and numerous other duties. He was former Hospitality Management Lecturer in CHM International Institute.

Bernard Blum

Israel national, Bernard, holds a Hotel General Manager’s License from The Ministry of Tourism Israel, where he currently resides. With 20 years experience working in Israel, Bernard has enjoyed success in managerial roles at numerous properties including; the Head of Department of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts at The Hadassah College, Director of Food and Beverage at The King David Hotel, Director of Food and Beverage, at The Princess Hotel Eilat and Banquet Manager at The Sheraton Plaza Hotel.
As an expert in his field, he shares his knowledge and experience as a “Food Consultant” for several organizations including universities, museums and private clients such as the Rimonim Hotels of Israel, The Mormon University, Israel Campus and the Hadassah Medical Organization. In addition he is a visiting lecturer at numerous international institutions in Israel, Denmark, Switzerland, Aruba, Germany, Estonia, Spain, Austria and China, lecturing on hotel management and hospitality, with particular emphasis on food and beverage management & human resources. He was former Hospitality Management Lecturer in CHM International Institute.
